"Un Enmore d’un ancien temps d’une grande finesse et très parfumé. Le nez se pare de prunes et de pruneaux, avant de laisser les épices provoquer les narines avec en arrière-plan une trame sombre de boisé et de cuir. Les notes florales et d’herbes aromatiques sont très plaisantes. L’attaque en bouche vient délicatement avec une main de velours. Les notes d’herbes et de fleurs marquent le palais de leur empreinte avec une touche médicinale. À l’inverse du nez, le côté sombre revient davantage avec l’amertume qui vient accompagner les épices, les saveurs toastées, le cuir, la prune et le pruneau. L’ensemble est équilibré, très rond et gouleyant. La finale, très longue, combine l’exostime des fruits, l’élégance boisée, la vivacité des épices, la fraîcheur florale et herbacée et l’amertume du cuir et du café pour un mélange harmonieux et aromatique. Un joli Enmore terriblement bon et efficace."

"If you like the beguiling notes of fresh oak with caramel and vanilla that so often accompany tropically aged Demeraras, you'll be right at home here. While there aren't too many other flavors to add to the flavor profile besides a few nuanced spice aromas and subtle dried fruits, this concentration and syrupy melt alone are simply fun for me as a Demerara lover and probably also give the bottling a subjective flavor bonus in the rating. No rum that would overwhelm on the basis of its complexity - instead simply seductively delicious at a high level."

"Second tasting and recalibration:The rum is not as good compared to rum rated equally good by me. In addition, the alcohol can be better integrated. -5 pointsNose: what a "mess"! Very complex and versatile. Here I can sniff it for a long time and always discover new flavors!Mouth: the start is amazingly mild but then the flavors come riding with full force on the alcohol wave! Again, a crazy combination and variety!Finish: long and with recurring impressions of nose and palate. Amazing: here the fruity flavors do not come under the wheels of barrel and spice.A great rum! No easy sipper and it takes its time."

"Un rhum qui semble un peu léger au nez avec des fruits tropicaux et du cuir et quelque chose de végétal. La bouche a une belle attaque qui revient sur les fruits avec une petite verdeur en arrière plan. Une finale moyenne avec un peu de massepain. Mieux à la seconde dégustation."

"A rum from Guyana that starts with a nice nose full of fruits (pineapple, apple, peach and lemon), spices, wood and caramel that blend harmoniously. The palate is more brutal, turned to spices (chili pepper in particular), vanilla wood and a touch of bitterness that contrasts with the exuberance of the fruits on the nose. We also detect notes of licorice. The rum is dry but quite creamy in the mouth. The finish is medium long with the same bitter, licorice, wood, spice, caramel and vanilla notes. A contrasting rum but diverse in flavors."

"A very nice demerara from Samaroli. I would have loved a higher ABV though because I think it would have benefitted the release. The nose is lightly woody with vanilla, pineapple, caramel as well as a hint of mint and herbs. The palate is lightly dry and medicinal with dried fruit, spices, nuts, licorice as well as a hint of flowers and mint. The finish is medium to long and lightly dry with wood, spices and dried fruit. Price to quality is pretty good."

"Die typischen PM-Noten sind unzweifelhaft erkennbar, insbesondere wird aus dem Profil aber eine Art „PM-Light“ - die Reduktion nimmt die Wucht aus dem Destillat, bringt aber auch eine neue Facette ein. Hat was und insbesondere für Demerara-Newbies ist das eine stimmige Ergänzung zu den hochprozentigen Releases."
