“Nose starts off very nice and complex but develops into a very woody / burnt experience quickly after some time in the glas. Also woody and dark notes dominat on the palate. Finish is a little short ending on a rather hollow woody note. All in all not really bad imho, but a little unassuming with no real highlights.”

“leider konnte ich nicht ausfindig machen, aus welcher Destille der RM stammt. Vielleicht ein junger Enmore? Die Farbe ist ziemlich dunkel für den eher jungen Jahrgang, vermutlich ist Zuckercouleur im Spiel? An der Nase recht blumig, gelbe Früchte, gebrannter Zucker, Vanille und Fass. Am Gaumen habe ich ebenfalls gebrannten Zucker, daneben Kakao, Holzfass und Tannine. Alles in allem nicht schlecht, aber auch kein Rum der in Erinnerung bleibt.”

“Ist der Rum an der Nase noch angenehm mild, blumig und leicht nach Trockenobst erinnernd, verliert er am Gaumen deutlich… eine ganz kurze Süße und danach überwiegen bittrige röstige Aromen! Zudem ist der Alkohol nicht sehr gut integriert! Der Abgang bleibt fast identisch! Schade!”
