"new Yarmouth in perfection despite only 55% "high proof" very fruity after fermented honeydew melon, pineapple etc and after raw cookie dough, honey and a slight saltiness as with brioche with salt butter! unfortunately horny. pity that I have not struck of this at the time to buy, because the also makes a 1A Mai Tai and Corn'n'oil 🤤😭"

"A rum tasted at the WLP. A nose of marzipan and glue with dried fruit. On the palate, there's glue, vegetal notes and quite a bit of bitterness. The finish is long on wood and dried fruit. A fine rum, but disappointing in direct comparison with WLP's HLCF."

"In the nose the full load of plastic, black olives and very fruity (ripe mango). With a little water comes chocolate. In the mouth then very herbaceous, fleshy notes appear a la TECA 2003 (help!!!!).Well done, but not mine."

"Tasted together with RA T.D.L 2002 The rum club shimmers a shade darker in the glass. In direct comparison, the nose of the RA is more defined. The mint in particular is more clearly recognizable. With the Rumclub, everything is a little masked. It seems to want to make up for this on the palate: a real herbal explosion sets in after 1-2 seconds! At this point, the RA becomes more "dirty" and the Rumclub stays more with the herbs and floral notes and is clearly sweeter and fruitier. This continues in the finish: the RA dabbles more in the dirt while the Rumclub remains very straightforward with the mint, sweetness and fruit. Very good rum, for me one point behind the RA, which seems more versatile and complex. I have to say that the bottle of RA has been open for a while, so the comparison is a little off."

Rum Artesanal Trelawny Double Cask
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This is a rum that I think people will agree to disagree about. None the less a pretty good one in my mind. The nose is nicely fruity with vanilla and esters, in the back i find some polish. The palate is true to the nose with fruits and esters. The palate is warm and dry but still well balanced. The finish is long and lightly dry with papaya and roasted barrel. "

"Not the very best from Artesanal but still able to pull its weight. The ABV is very obvious in the nose so I let it rest for 30 minutes after which it settles. The nose still has a bit of the ABV with some fruits and nuts. There is also a bit of wood and caramel. The palate is very different as the ABV is far better balanced. I get berries, vanilla, mint and caramel first followed by some vegetal notes. A lightly dry and spicy warm palate. The finish is medium long with fruits, caramel and mint. Price to quality is OK."

"This one need stor rest for a bit before the flavours are set free for you to enjoy. Overall very good balance between the ABV, whish is well integrated, and the fruits and roasted wood notes. I really like the noget that comes out after resting as well as in the empty glass. Draws really nice curtains in the glass."

"Typical Port Mourant on the nose: sweetish, spicy, leathery and then that sulfured dried apricot. The sweetness here does not quite come in the direction of honey, but a bit more tart, in the direction of maple syrup. I really like this smell! The palate is spicy-sweet, bitter-salty. Something of everything. Again, the sweetness is more in the direction of maple syrup than honey. Nutmeg, vanilla and anise. Then in the direction of herbs and tea.Really nice.In the finish remains anise tea."

"Probably one of the best bottlings from El Salvador to date on the market. Very harmonious composition of Werthers real caramel cocoa candy with a little salt, dried apricots, date nut, cocoa, roasted almonds."

"This 3rd release hit the nail spot on. Leave it for 15 minutes, at least, before giving it a go. The nose is a wealth of fruits and vanilla, in the back i can find tobacco and wet leather. The palate is spicy with fruit and smoky oak. A touch of licorice and toffee in the following sips. The finish is long and spicy with oak and licorice. "
