“Already on the nose with the aroma of polished oak, vanilla and caramel so often found in tropically aged Demerara rums - and the promise is maintained on the palate. The aforementioned notes are joined by pepper, chocolate, leather and subtle licorice. All in all, I only miss a bit of freshness to get the rating even higher. The quality, however, remains exceptional, very nice bottling.”
