“Quite alcoholic nose with some vanilla and coconut. On the palate, the alcohol is still too present. This is again joined by the typical coconut and vanilla notes. Rather disappointing Foursquare.”

“Got a sample of this Foursquare rum for free from RumX. It’s a mix of column and pot still distilled rum aged for 11 years in an ex-bourbon cask, 5 years in the tropics and 6 years continentally whereafter it’s bottled in 264 bottles at 59,3%. Overall an interesting and elegant Foursquare rum that’s a little different from their own bottlings, maybe because of the continental aging.”

Praktisch ohne nennenswerten Unterschied zum Barbados No. 18.”
