“On The Rocks: On the nose there is a hint of alcohol but a very strong fruit / red apple and floral presence. It smells quite delicious with a mild underlying wood and spice. Taste has an initial mild alcohol with a moderate sweet fruit and moderate spice with mild oak. Taste feels slightly thicker then anticipated. Finish is medium with a sweet spice evolving into a slightly bitter oak. There is a lot happening here for a 10 year old rum. Very Impressive. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose it has a musky old warehouse with mild sweetness that reminds me of caramel. Taste is a little confusing with a red apple sweetness shining through the Pepsi Zero. Finish is very short. Not overly enjoyable mixed and is much better on the rocks.”
