Romdeluxe Hampden Wild Series Rum Jamaica No. 1 DOK 2009 10yr 85,2%
Introducing the Wild Series Rum Jamaica No. 1 DOK, a remarkable Jamaican rum hailing from the renowned Hampden distillery. This limited release of only 170 bottles was distilled in 2009 using a pot still from molasses and aged for 10 years and 3 months. Independently bottled by Romdeluxe and boasting an impressive ABV of 85.2%, this rum showcases a delightful nose of banana, caramel, olive, mineral, and pineapple. Our RumX users appreciate how its intense flavors of banana, pineapple, cinnamon, and vanilla integrate smoothly despite the high ABV. While some consider it heavy for sipping, others found it enjoyable with a drop or two of water to release all the complex flavors. “This one is a heavy hitter and hits your nose right after opening the bottle. Super high ABV that is well integrated and i get a hint of the Madeira Cask it was finished on. Add a drop or two of water to release all the flavours.”
