“This one was the beginning of my tastings in Amsterdam and it was a nice start. Price to quality can be discussed. This one needs to rest for a while in order to release all the flavours. The nose is fruity with spices and solvents as well as a very Ligh wood note. The palate is warm and oily (draws nice curtains) with fruit, spices, wonderful licorice as well as lighter notes of smoky wood and hay. The ex whisky barrel can also be found once rested. The finish is medium to long and warm with smoky wood, papaya and spices.”
