“This is a really nice release and thinking about the price tag it's all the way up thee with some of the better more expensive ones. The nose is wonderfully smoky and woody with fruits, molasses and caramel trailed by licorice and herbal notes. The palate is warm and lightly sweet and very complex yet well balanced between the smoky wood and orange, leather and caramel trailed by licorice, tea and a flowery note. The finish is long and woody with caramel, orange and licorice. I made a note that the empty glass had the most wonderful bouquet of flavours before going home.”
