“Now we're getting somewhere. This one is far better than the first one we tried. Heavier in a way and far more power in the flavours. The wood and spices are there as well as the salty ocean with fruits and licorice. At release the price to quality was very good.”

“Toller neuer PM mit überraschenden Noten. Zuerst blind in Glas weckt er Assoziationen zu Savanna und Fiji, wohl durch seine medizinischen Noten, Salzigkeit und einen Einschlag von Eukalyptus. Dann aber doch auch recht typisch, mit kräutrigen Aromen, einer leichten Holzigkeit und hinten raus vielleicht etwas Umami. Für mich überraschend ist die leichte Süße, die dieser Rum mitbringt. Diese schwingt für mich irgendwo zwischen Marzipan und Honig und lenkt mich etwas von den anderen Aromen ab. Kein Highlight, aber doch ein schöner Vertreter aus Guyana!”

“blind war ich beim ersten Versuch erst bei einem funky Agricole oder overproof Fiji Rum. an der Nase schöne Frucht aus überreifen grünen Äpfeln, gaia Melone und Papaya, sowie Kräuter und viel Medizin, Jod und Metall, sowie relativ rauchig. geschmacklich dann extrem trocken, Medizinisch und salzig nach Anis und etwas Limette und Kräuter wie Salbei, Eukalyptus, Wacholder und Thymian. die Früchte an der Nase sind geschmacklich leider kaum noch wahrnehmbar. alles recht salzig und funky, Alkohol gut eingebunden aber nicht 100% mein Ding.”
