“The nose surprises me at first both positive and negative. Positive is definitely the complexity of fruit, tropical fruit and citrus of all kinds. Also, glue, sulfur, acidity, pepper, nutmeg, anise and, not very surprisingly, a lot of oak. Negative is unfortunately the intensity, I would have expected more. On the palate, however, then very set, most of the flavors are also found in the mouth, but much more intense. Overall, a definitely underrated and incredibly tasty rum. This set and round fruitiness with the equally set spice is just wonderful”

“Even at the second tasting, the alcohol is too poorly integrated and displaces with its strength - at least for my taste - on the palate these really pleasant floral notes in the nose. A bit of a shame, would have liked to give him more points, but do not want to lie to myself in the pocket. Still recommended to buy, acceptable PLV for a solid rum of currently (early February 2022) around 140 EUR, which is still available.Update 2022/02/12: I just like this light nose that reminds a bit of pickles at the end (pleasant!). And today - in direct comparison with the RA EMB 1995 - I find the alcohol level on the palate just right. Conclusion: smooth 3 points more, 85!😊”

Wirklich spannend!”
